Connect Platform for Aerolight Wheelchair Ramps
When temporary ramps need to be installed, there may not be sufficient steps or ridges over which the lip of the ramp can be placed for secure use. Even in cases where the ramp can be placed safely, the steepness of the ramp to the higher level may be too severe. In either scenario, using a Connect Platform for Aerolight Wheelchair Ramps can improve functionality of the Aerolight ramp and increase safety by allowing for a gradual height increase.
Please note, the stairs pictured are not included with this product. They are included in the product picture for demonstrational purposes only.
Metal Connect Platform
The metal Connect Platform allows a ramp to be positioned at ground level, leading up to the platform. This means that a user with reduced mobility can access the platform with ease, and the ramp can be used by both walking pedestrians and individuals using a wheelchair, scooter, or rollator.
The Connect Platform increases the benefit of the ramp by providing a solid textured surface, and can be used both indoors and outside. In wet weather conditions, however, caution should always be taken, even though the textured surface helps to improve grip.
Great for Events
Ramps are often required at public and private events to provide increased accessibility for individuals with reduced mobility. Where seating areas are narrow, the platform can provide additional room for a wheelchair or scooter. It will also enable safer and easier access to such areas as staging, where steps may not be present.
Gradual Height Increase
The Connect Platform for Aerolight Wheelchair Ramps is an ideal choice for where a single ramp to a higher level would produce too steep a slope. The platform can create a midway point by utilising two ramps for a more progressive slope.
Please note that the ramp and handrails pictured are sold separately.
