How to Use the Alerta Medical Evacuation Sheet
The Alerta Medical Evacuation Sheet is permanently placed under an alternating pressure air mattress ready for usage in the event of an emergency evacuation. Please read on for instructions on how to use the sheet in an evacuation.
- Place the foot protector sheet over the feet / lower legs of the user
- Strap the user in over their chest and legs using the straps of the sheet, but with the arms remaining over the top
- Remove the air tubes from the pump and apply the transport cap
- Pull two a safe zone by two operators – one at the foot pulling, and one at the head guiding
Can This Evacuation Sheet Be Used with Foam Mattresses?
